Nadroga’s football team recently exited the Fiji FACT tournament but remains proud of their performance throughout their matches. Team director Navin Kant expressed that the players showed remarkable effort and skill, even though they fell short of qualifying for the next stage. “We brought a formidable side, and my boys displayed good soccer,” he remarked.

In the tournament, Nadroga recorded a goalless draw against Nadi, lost 2-0 to Suva, but redeemed themselves by winning 2-1 against Labasa. This victory, although not enough for semifinal progression, was celebrated as a display of their determination and competitive spirit.

Reflecting on their journey, Kant stated that the team would continue to nurture the same set of players in hopes of coming back stronger for future tournaments. This outlook is reminiscent of Nadroga’s past performances, where they have shown resilience even when facing challenges, such as their significant win against Labasa which altered the group dynamics within the tournament.

Fans and supporters can look forward to Nadroga’s future potential as they build on this experience and aim for greater success in the coming competitions. The commitment and team spirit displayed indicate that better days are ahead for Nadroga in Fiji’s vibrant football scene.
