A collaborative task force, including the Police Mobile Force (PMF), Fiji Detector Dog Unit (FDDU), and the Divisional Operations Team, executed two successful raids in Nadonumai today, leading to the arrest of three men suspected of illegally possessing illicit drugs.
Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Livai Driu reported that one of the operations resulted in the discovery of suspected marijuana, stolen electronic devices, and equipment believed to be used for drug packaging. The suspects are currently in custody at Lami Police Station as investigations are ongoing.
During this festive season, ACP Driu highlighted the department’s commitment to dismantling criminal networks and increasing efforts to combat illegal activities through focused operations. He encouraged community members to play an active role in the fight against drug-related crime by reporting any suspicious behavior to Crime Stoppers at 919.
