Nadi has kept its semifinal dreams alive after a commanding 4-1 victory over Nadroga in their final Group B match of the 2024 FMF Inter District Championship at Churchill Park in Lautoka.

Siotame Kubu was the standout performer, scoring a hat-trick of goals, while Pauliasi Tulivou added another for Nadi. Despite a missed penalty from Australia-based midfielder Abdullah Aiyas in the second half, Nadi secured the crucial win.

Under the guidance of coach Raj Dayal, Nadi now has 4 points and must wait for the outcome of the Rewa vs Ba match. For Nadi to advance, they are hoping for a Rewa victory against Ba. Currently, Nadi has a zero goal difference, and for Ba to move ahead to the semifinals, they would need to win their match by a score of 2-0.
