Coach Raj Dayal, based in Canada, arrived in the country over the weekend to prepare Nadi for the upcoming FMF Inter District Championship, set to take place at Churchill Park in Lautoka this month.
His initial goal was to lead the Jetsetters in their final Digicel Fiji Premier League match of the season against Suva, where he achieved immediate success with a 2-1 victory. This win allowed Nadi to conclude their season with a total of 25 points, finishing in sixth place.
Dayal is set to collaborate with Varoon Karan in guiding the Green Machine, which has been placed in Group B along with champions Ba, League winners Rewa, and Nadroga.
The IDC is scheduled for October 15-20.
