Coach Raj Dayal, based in Canada, arrived in Fiji over the weekend to prepare the Nadi football team for the upcoming FMF Inter District Championship, set to take place at Churchill Park in Lautoka later this month.
His initial responsibility was to lead the Jetsetters in their final match of the Digicel Fiji Premier League season against Suva. Dayal achieved immediate success as the team secured a 2-1 victory, finishing their season with 25 points and placing sixth overall.
Dayal will collaborate with Varoon Karan to guide the Green Machine, which has been placed in Group B alongside defending champions Ba, League winners Rewa, and Nadroga.
The Inter District Championship is scheduled to occur from October 15 to 20.
