Raj Dayal, a coach from Canada, arrived in the country over the weekend to prepare Nadi for the upcoming FMF Inter District Championship, set to take place at Churchill Park in Lautoka this month.
His first assignment was to lead the Jetsetters in their final match of the Digicel Fiji Premier League against Suva, where he celebrated immediate success with a 2-1 victory, concluding their season with a total of 25 points, positioning them in sixth place.
Dayal will be collaborating with Varoon Karan to train the Green Machine, which has been placed in Group B alongside champions Ba, League winners Rewa, and Nadroga.
The IDC is scheduled to run from October 15 to 20.
