Canadian coach Raj Dayal arrived in Fiji over the weekend to get the Nadi football team ready for the upcoming FMF Inter District Championship at Churchill Park in Lautoka this month. His initial responsibility was to lead the Jetsetters in their final match of the Digicel Fiji Premier League season against Suva, where he achieved immediate success with a 2-1 victory. This win allowed Nadi to finish their campaign in sixth place with a total of 25 points. Dayal will collaborate with Varoon Karan to coach the team, which is grouped in Group B alongside defending champions Ba, league winners Rewa, and Nadroga. The IDC is scheduled to take place from October 15 to 20.
