Varun Karan will take over as the interim coach for Nadi for the remainder of the Digicel Premier League season and the upcoming Inter District Championship in Lautoka. Nadi FA President Mohammed Mohin Rafiq confirmed this decision, noting that current coach Raj Dayal is temporarily out of the country. Rafiq expressed confidence in Karan’s abilities, stating, “Raj Dayal has gone out of the country, so we’ve brought in Varun Karan as a capable replacement. He has good experience, and I’m confident he will do his best to guide the team through the rest of the DFPL season and the IDC.” Nadi is set to face Lautoka tomorrow at 7 PM at Prince Charles Park, in a rematch of the Battle of Giants final.
