Nadi Sports and Social Club claimed victory in the first-ever Ladies Business House Bowls Competition held last week. The team, composed of Tascheen Stuart, Raijieli Jamieson, Anita Devi, Laisani Sinu, and Shami Devi, triumphed over Lautoka Wonder Women with a close score of 16-13 in the final match.
Lautoka Wonder Women featured players Bikashni Dass, Dinusha Chandima, Pritika Singh, and Ms. Low. The club’s secretary, Shamal Kumar, praised this historic event, emphasizing its significance for women’s involvement in the sport of bowls in Nadi.
Kumar congratulated the Nadi Sports Club for their hard-earned win and commended all competing teams for their outstanding sportsmanship and dedication throughout the tournament.
