Nadi Sports Club triumphed in the 34th Business House Bowls Competition, which was held at the Nadi Sports and Social Club on Thursday night, with a sponsorship from Consumers Supermarket.
In an impressive final match, Nadi Sports Club decisively defeated Islands Electric Two with a score of 32-3, while Wild Tigers claimed third place in the tournament. Portion Pak emerged victorious in the Plate competition by beating Electric One 16-7.
Additionally, CAAF won the Bowl competition, overcoming Fiji Airways 20-11, and Wormald Fire and Security secured the Shield with a 15-10 victory over the Guardforce West Admin Team.
West Media One finished strong in eighth place, and West Media Two ended the tournament in 12th place out of 16 competing teams.
After five weeks of competitive play, the Business House Bowls tournament concluded with an exciting final match. Tournament Organizer Shamal Kumar expressed satisfaction with the tournament’s outcome.
“We’re extremely pleased to announce that Nadi Sports Club has captured its first-ever trophy in the 34 tournaments held on the greens of Nadi Sports and Social Club,” Kumar remarked.
He also acknowledged Islands Electric Wholesalers Team 2, the defending champions for the past three tournaments, for their commendable performance. “Your team played a fantastic game, and it was a privilege to compete with you tonight. Here’s to many more victories ahead,” Kumar concluded.
