The Nadi Sports and Social Club emerged victorious in the inaugural Ladies Business House Bowls Competition last week, a significant achievement for women’s sports in the region. The winning team comprised Tascheen Stuart, Raijieli Jamieson, Anita Devi, Laisani Sinu, and Shami Devi, who clinched the title with a close score of 16-13 against the Lautoka Wonder Women, featuring Bikashni Dass, Dinusha Chandima, Pritika Singh, and Ms. Low.
Club secretary Shamal Kumar hailed the tournament as a groundbreaking event that highlights women’s involvement in bowls.
