Nadi Sports Club Clinches Historic Victory in Bowls Competition

Nadi Sports Club triumphed in the 34th Business House Bowls Competition held at the Nadi Sports and Social Club on Thursday night. The club showcased its prowess in the final match, overpowering Islands Electric Two with an impressive score of 32-3. Wild Tigers took home the third-place honor, while Portion Pak claimed the Plate title by defeating Electric One 16-7.

In other outcomes, CAAF emerged as the Bowl winner after defeating Fiji Airways 20-11, and Wormald Fire and Security secured the Shield by triumphing over the Guardforce West Admin Team with a score of 15-10.

West Media One finished strongly in eighth place, while West Media Two ended up in 12th position out of the 16 teams that participated.

After five weeks of intense competition, the Business House Bowls tournament reached a thrilling conclusion. Tournament organizer Shamal Kumar expressed satisfaction with the results of the five-week event.

“We’re beyond thrilled to announce that Nadi Sports Club has claimed its first ever trophy in the 34 tournaments held on the greens of Nadi Sports & Social Club. A huge shoutout to the runners-up, Islands Electric Wholesalers Team 2, who were the defending champions for the past three consecutive tournaments. Your team played a fantastic game, and it was an honor to compete with you tonight. Here’s to many more victories ahead,” Kumar stated.
