Nadi Sports Club triumphed in the 34th Business House Bowls Competition, organized by Consumers Supermarket, held at the Nadi Sports and Social Club on Thursday evening.
The club showcased its prowess in the final match, decisively defeating Islands Electric Two with a score of 32-3, while Wild Tigers claimed the third position. Portion Pak emerged victorious in the Plate division, beating Electric One 16-7.
In additional results, CAAF was named the Bowl champion after overcoming Fiji Airways with a score of 20-11. Wormald Fire and Security secured the Shield title by defeating Guardforce West Admin Team 15-10.
West Media One finished strong in eighth place, and West Media Two ended in 12th among the 16 teams that participated.
After five weeks of rigorous competition, the Business House Bowls tournament concluded with an exciting final. Tournament organizer Shamal Kumar expressed his satisfaction with the event’s outcome.
“We’re thrilled to announce that Nadi Sports Club has secured its first trophy in the 34 tournaments held at the Nadi Sports & Social Club,” Kumar stated.
He also congratulated the runners-up, Islands Electric Wholesalers Team 2, who had previously held the championship title for the last three tournaments. “Your team played a fantastic game, and it was an honor to compete against you tonight. Here’s to many more victories ahead,” he added.
