Nadi has secured a spot in the semifinals of the Rams Group of Companies 10th Sanatan World Cup after defeating NZ Ba 2-1 in an exciting final quarterfinal held at the Blacktown Spartan Sporting Complex.
NZ Ba took an early lead with a composed finish from Arnav Naicker midway through the first half. However, Nadi responded just before halftime, with speedy player Nilkash Prasad equalizing the score.
As the match progressed, Nadi intensified their efforts and ultimately netted the winning goal courtesy of Darryl Narayan’s right-footed strike.
