Authorities are actively investigating a series of robberies that occurred in Nadi during the early hours of Thursday. Divisional Police Commander for the West, Senior Superintendent of Police Iakobo Vaisewa, indicated that the police are following several leads in the case.
SSP Vaisewa remarked, “Our team is still investigating and we have gathered some information that the team is pursuing.” Surveillance footage has revealed that three individuals were involved in the robbery at the Total Energy service station in Nadi Town at approximately 3:47 AM. Shortly after this incident, the same group reportedly targeted a mini-mart in Martintar.
Earlier police reports indicated that this wave of robberies began in Ba, where the suspects stole the vehicle that was subsequently used in the robberies in Nadi.
