A 32-year-old man has been charged with the alleged murder of Nadi doctor and social media personality, Isireli Biumaitotoya. The Criminal Investigations Department of the Fiji Police Force has filed one count of murder against the suspect. The accused is set to appear in the Nadi Magistrates’ Court today. In the course of the investigation, a second individual who had been detained and questioned was subsequently released.
Dr. Biumaitotoya was discovered lifeless in his home last week, prompting a police investigation leading to the charges.
