Nadi International Airport in Fiji has been honored with the Airports Council International’s Level One Accreditation for Customer Experience, joining the ranks of prestigious airports around the globe recognized for their exceptional service quality. This accolade emphasizes the airport’s devotion to customer satisfaction by managing and enhancing passenger experiences.

Fiji Airports Chief Executive, Mesake Nawari, expressed pride in this international recognition, highlighting its significance in reflecting the company’s commitment to understanding and improving passenger services through valuable feedback. Nawari pointed out that the accreditation is based on the ACI Airport Service Quality survey, which evaluates customer focus, strategic planning, and performance in service provision.

Justin Erbacci, ACI World Director General, has emphasized the profound impact of the passenger experience, noting that it heavily influences traveler perceptions and long-term impressions. Nawari credited the dedication of the airport’s staff, who work tirelessly to deliver the “Bula Experience” — a uniquely Fijian hospitality approach.

This achievement doesn’t just bring prestige; it aligns with Fiji’s ambitious vision of transforming Nadi International Airport into a world-class aviation hub within the Blue Pacific region. The airport’s drive extends beyond customer experience, as it has also recently been recognized for its environmental sustainability efforts.

Earlier accolades include Nadi Airport becoming the first in the Blue Pacific region to attain Level 4 Transformation under the Airport Carbon Accreditation (ACA) program. This marked its commitment to sustainable operations by reducing carbon emissions and integrating renewable energy initiatives, such as solar-powered vehicles and fully solar-powered domestic terminals.

Through these efforts, Nadi International Airport not only enhances its status as a leader in customer service but also as a pioneer in sustainable aviation practices. These recognitions underscore a proactive and optimistic roadmap toward enriching the travel experience while contributing significantly to global environmental goals and fostering economic growth in the region.
