Authorities are currently investigating a series of robberies that occurred in Nadi during the early hours of Thursday last week. Senior Superintendent of Police Iakobo Vaisewa, the Divisional Police Commander for the West, indicated that the police are pursuing various leads.

SSP Vaisewa mentioned, “Our team is still investigating and we have some information that they are following up on.”

Surveillance video has revealed that three individuals were involved in a robbery at the Total Energy service station in Nadi Town at 3:47 AM on that Thursday. Shortly thereafter, the same group targeted a mini-mart in Martintar.

Earlier reports indicated that the robbery spree originally began in Ba, where the suspects stole the vehicle used in their subsequent crimes in Nadi.
