Varun Karan has been appointed to lead Nadi for the remainder of the Digicel Premier League season and the upcoming Inter District Championship in Lautoka. This decision was announced by Nadi FA President Mohammed Mohin Rafiq, who clarified that the current coach, Raj Dayal, remains with the team but is temporarily out of the country. Rafiq expressed confidence in Karan’s experience, stating, “Raj Dayal has gone out of the country, so we’ve brought in Varun Karan as a capable replacement. He has good experience, and I’m confident he will do his best to guide the team through the rest of the DFPL season and the IDC.” Nadi will face Lautoka tomorrow at 7pm at Prince Charles Park in a rematch of the Battle of Giants final.
