The Nadi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (NCCI) has unveiled its newly updated website, which now features the latest business information for Nadi, a key tourism destination in Fiji. NCCI President Dr. Ram Raju is encouraging members to make full use of the website, which now offers enhanced user-friendly options.
“This site includes a ‘Business Directory’ where all members can advertise their businesses for free,” Dr. Raju stated. “We will also provide current news, viewpoints, photos, and reports, including resolutions from previous business forums. We welcome your feedback and submissions as we aim to deliver the best possible services to our members.”
The redesign of the website, created and hosted by Bula Webs, a digital solutions company based in Lautoka, features contributions from freelance journalist Shalendra Prasad. Bula Webs founder Steven Chand expressed excitement about assisting with NCCI’s digital upgrade, highlighting the project as an opportunity to showcase their web development skills.
“This initiative not only demonstrates our abilities to build modern, efficient websites but also marks an important advancement for Fiji’s digital landscape, particularly benefiting the tourism sector. As Fiji strives to enhance its status as a premier tourist destination, Bula Webs is dedicated to providing the necessary technological support to facilitate this progress,” Mr. Chand noted.
He emphasized the importance of empowering Fiji’s tourism businesses with digital tools needed to succeed in an interconnected global market. “Our aim is to ensure that Fiji’s stunning natural scenery and renowned hospitality are complemented by high-quality online experiences, catering to everything from small businesses and guesthouses to large resorts,” he added.
