Two men who were caught on video intimidating a bus attendant at the Nadi Bus station are now in police custody. Assistant Commissioner of Police Operations Livai Driu announced the arrests made this morning, noting that the individuals had been causing disruptions in a public area.
ACP Driu emphasized that these men frequently engage in troubling behavior, which involves harassing bus drivers and passengers. Their actions not only endanger the safety of those on board but also create a distressing atmosphere for everyone present.
He encouraged Public Service Vehicle (PSV) drivers to report similar incidents at nearby police stations or checkpoints if they encounter such issues. By looking out for one another, communities can help ensure a safe and peaceful environment, especially with the festive season approaching.
In light of this situation, it is heartening to see law enforcement taking swift action to maintain public safety and comfort. This incident serves as a reminder that community vigilance is crucial in safeguarding the well-being of all. With everyone playing their part, there is hope for an incident-free and enjoyable holiday season.
