Motorists experienced significant delays at Nadi International Airport yesterday due to a vehicle fire. Police spokesperson Constable Wame Batutolu reported that the incident occurred at 10:30 AM.

According to Batutolu, the fire resulted from a collision between two vehicles, with one heading towards Lautoka. The driver, a 61-year-old man, allegedly failed to yield to the other vehicle as it made a turn at the roundabout while returning from Sabeto. Fortunately, there were no injuries reported.

Additionally, it was noted that the traffic lights in the area have been malfunctioning for an extended period, with traffic being managed by cones. An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
