Nadi advanced to the semifinals of the Rams Group of Companies 10th Sanatan World Cup after a compelling 2-1 victory over NZ Ba in the final quarterfinal held at the Blacktown Spartan Sporting Complex.
Arnav Naicker opened the scoring for NZ Ba with a composed finish midway through the first half. However, Nadi equalized just before halftime thanks to a goal from the quick-footed Nilkash Prasad.
In the latter stages of the match, Nadi increased their offensive efforts and ultimately secured the win with a second goal from Darryl Narayan, who struck with his right foot.
