Nabua White’s Rugby Triumph: A Dominating Performance!

Nabua White showcased an impressive performance in their latest FMF Suva Rugby Koroturaga match, defeating Vanuabalavu with a score of 33-3. The match took place at the USP grounds in Suva on Saturday, where Nabua White asserted their dominance from the outset.

In the first half, Nabua controlled the game effectively, demonstrating strength in both defense and attack, resulting in a solid 14-3 lead at halftime, bolstered by a notable try from Apisai Doveirua. The team continued to dominate in the second half, ensuring their victory was comprehensive.

Team manager Solomoni Nakati praised the players for their performance but noted some missed opportunities. He expressed satisfaction with the overall effort while emphasizing the need for improvement in specific areas, particularly the line-out and scrum. “The boys really did well, showed their strength and ability in the match. We had more opportunities that we didn’t capitalize on, but overall, they executed well on the field,” Nakati stated.

With three rounds left in the competition, Nakati stressed the importance of honing their skills during training to maintain their level of success. The team features a youthful lineup, with the youngest player being just 19, who has been performing remarkably.

Nakati also thanked the supporters of Nabua in Fiji and abroad, urging for increased attendance at upcoming matches as they strive for more victories in the competition.
