Nabua White Triumphs in Rugby Showdown: What’s Next for the Dominant Team?

Nabua White delivered an impressive performance in their recent FMF Suva Rugby Koroturaga match, defeating Vanuabalavu with a score of 33-3. The match took place on Saturday at the USP grounds in Suva, where Nabua White showcased their dominance from the beginning.

In the first half, Nabua White controlled the game effectively, excelling in both defense and offense. They went into halftime with a solid 14-3 lead, buoyed by an impressive try from Apisai Doveirua.

The team maintained their strong performance in the second half, ultimately achieving a comprehensive victory. Team manager Solomoni Nakati praised the players for their strength and skill on the field. He acknowledged that while they missed some opportunities, he was pleased with their overall performance and stressed the need for improvement in specific areas like line-outs and scrums.

“The boys really did well, showing their strength and ability during the match. We had more opportunities that we didn’t capitalize on, but overall, they accomplished what they set out to do,” said Nakati. “There is always room for improvement. With three rounds left, we need to work on our line-outs and scrums in our next match, and we will focus on that in training.”

With three rounds remaining in the season, Nakati emphasized the team’s dedication to enhancing their skills during practice to sustain their success in the competition. Nabua White features a young lineup, with the youngest player being just 19 years old, and he has been performing remarkably well on the field.

Nakati also expressed gratitude to the Nabua supporters both in Fiji and internationally, encouraging them to attend upcoming matches as the team aims for continued victories in the tournament.
