Nabua White showcased an impressive performance in their latest FMF Suva Rugby Koroturaga match against Vanuabalavu, securing a decisive 33-3 victory. The match took place on Saturday at the USP grounds in Suva, where Nabua White displayed dominance from the outset.

In the first half, Nabua White asserted control over the game, exhibiting strength in both defense and offense, which earned them a comfortable 14-3 lead by halftime, bolstered by an impressive try from Apisai Doveirua.

The second half saw Nabua continuing their strong play, culminating in a comprehensive win. Team manager Solomoni Nakati praised the players for their performance while also acknowledging that there were missed opportunities. He expressed satisfaction with their overall effort but pointed out areas for improvement, particularly concerning their line-out and scrum.

Nakati commented, “The boys really did well, showed their strength and ability in the match. We had more opportunities and didn’t take them, but overall, the boys did what they came to do on the field. There is always room for improvement, with three rounds left, we need to work on our line-out and scrum in our next match, and we will focus on that during training.”

With three rounds remaining in the competition, Nakati emphasized the team’s dedication to honing their skills in training to build on their current success. The Nabua White team is notably young, with their youngest player being just 19 years old, and he has been performing exceptionally well.

Nakati also expressed gratitude to the Nabua supporters both in Fiji and abroad, urging for increased attendance at upcoming matches as they strive for more victories in the competition.
