Nabua White Shines with Convincing Victory Over Vanuabalavu

Nabua White delivered a commanding performance in their recent FMF Suva Rugby Koroturaga match against Vanuabalavu, securing a solid 33-3 victory. The match took place at the USP grounds in Suva on Saturday, where Nabua White showcased their strength from the very beginning.

In the first half, Nabua White asserted their dominance, excelling in defense and offense, which allowed them to establish a 14-3 lead at halftime, highlighted by Apisai Doveirua’s impressive try.

Continuing their strong form in the second half, Nabua White closed out the match with a comprehensive victory. Team manager Solomoni Nakati praised the players for their performance, acknowledging the strength and skill they displayed on the field.

While Nakati recognized that some opportunities were missed, he expressed overall satisfaction with the team’s effort and emphasized the need for improvement, particularly in areas like line-outs and scrums. “The boys really did well, showed their strength and ability in the match. We had more opportunities that we didn’t capitalize on, but overall, they executed their game plan effectively,” Nakati said.

Looking ahead, with three rounds left in the competition, Nakati stressed the importance of refining their skills during training to maintain their success. He highlighted that the team features a young roster, with the youngest player being just 19 years old and performing exceptionally well.

Nakati also expressed gratitude to Nabua supporters both in Fiji and abroad, urging them to attend upcoming matches as the team strives for further victories in the competition.
