Nabua White Shines in Stunning 33-3 Victory!

Nabua White delivered a commanding performance in their recent FMF Suva Rugby Koroturaga match against Vanuabalavu, securing a decisive 33-3 victory.

The match, which took place at the USP grounds in Suva on Saturday, showcased Nabua White’s dominance from the outset. In the first half, they exhibited a strong blend of defensive solidity and offensive prowess, allowing them to establish a comfortable 14-3 lead by halftime, bolstered by a notable try from Apisai Doveirua.

Continuing their strong form in the second half, Nabua White effectively clinched the match with a comprehensive victory. Team manager Solomoni Nakati praised the players for their skill and strength on the field. While he acknowledged some missed opportunities, he expressed overall satisfaction with the team’s effort and emphasized the need for improvement in areas such as the line-out and scrum.

“The boys really did well, showing their strength and ability in the match. We had more opportunities that we didn’t capitalize on, but overall, they executed their game plan effectively,” Nakati stated. He added, “There is always room for improvement; with three rounds left, we need to work on our line-out and scrum in our next match, and we’ll focus on that during training.”

As the competition progresses, Nakati underscored the team’s commitment to honing their skills in training. The Nabua White team features a youthful roster, with the youngest player being just 19 years old, who has been performing remarkably on the field.

Nakati also expressed gratitude towards the Nabua supporters both in Fiji and abroad, urging them to increase attendance at upcoming matches as the team aims for further victories in the competition.
