Nabua White Shines in Dominant Rugby Victory

Nabua White showcased a commanding performance in their latest FMF Suva Rugby Koroturaga match, defeating Vanuabalavu decisively with a score of 33-3.

The game took place at the USP grounds in Suva on Saturday, where Nabua White asserted their dominance from the outset.

In the first half, they controlled the match effectively, demonstrating strength in both defense and attack, which resulted in a 14-3 lead by halftime, bolstered by an impressive try from Apisai Doveirua.

Nabua continued to overpower Vanuabalavu in the second half, ensuring a comprehensive win.

Team manager Solomoni Nakati praised the players for their performance on the field, noting that while they had missed some opportunities, he was pleased with the team’s overall effort. He stressed the importance of improving certain aspects, particularly the line-out and scrum as they prepare for upcoming matches.

“The boys really did well, showed their strength and ability during the match. We had more opportunities but didn’t capitalize on them. Overall, they executed well on the field,” Nakati said.

He acknowledged that there is always room for growth as they approach the final three rounds of the competition, stating the team would focus on refining these skills in training.

Nabua White features a youthful roster, the youngest player being just 19 years old, who has been performing remarkably on the field.

Nakati expressed gratitude to the supporters of Nabua both in Fiji and abroad, encouraging greater attendance at future matches as the team seeks to secure more victories in the tournament.
