A police investigation is currently in progress following the discovery of a 60-year-old man’s body at his home in Suva this morning. The situation arose when a colleague reported to the Totogo Police Station after visiting the victim’s residence, as several attempts to reach him had been unsuccessful. Upon arrival, the colleague found the man lying motionless and immediately notified the authorities.
Officers from the Crime Scene Investigations Unit were dispatched to the location to begin the first stages of the investigation. Authorities will await the results of a post-mortem examination to determine the cause of death as the inquiry continues.
