Traffic officials are seeking the public’s help in identifying a man who died in a tragic road accident in the Southern Division on the morning of October 1st. Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Mitieli Divuana reported that the victim, believed to be in his late 20s, was found asleep on Queens Road near Talenaua, Navua, when he was struck by a vehicle driven by a 36-year-old man around 1 a.m.

Despite being rushed to Navua Hospital, the man was pronounced dead upon arrival. Currently, his identity remains undiscovered, prompting police to describe him as an i-taukei male. In an effort to aid their investigation, authorities have released images of his clothing and a unique tattoo located on his left arm, hoping that someone may recognize him.
