The Fiji Police Force is currently conducting an investigation into the death of a senior manager at the Crowne Plaza in Wailoaloa, Nadi. Assistant Commissioner of Police Crime, Mesake Waqa, emphasized that the police will maintain an open mind throughout the investigation to determine the circumstances surrounding the death.
The 41-year-old manager was discovered unresponsive with physical injuries inside a bathroom on Saturday morning. Crowne Plaza Fiji Nadi Bay Resort & Spa’s General Manager, Shaun Parsons, mentioned that police have indicated there is no criminal investigation related to the death of the staff member.
