Authorities are looking into the death of a homeless individual found unresponsive at the Totogo Police Station yesterday morning.
Acting Commissioner of Police Juki Fong Chew reported that the man had approached the station to request use of the restroom, which the on-duty team accommodated.
Shortly thereafter, an officer who was escorting a prisoner to the bathroom discovered the man lying still. The area was subsequently secured to allow Crime Scene Investigations to carry out their work.
Mr. Chew noted that a post-mortem examination is expected to determine the cause of death and assured the community that a comprehensive investigation will follow the incident.
