A police investigation is underway following the discovery of a 60-year-old man’s body in his home in Suva this morning. A report was made to the Totogo Police Station by a colleague who visited the victim’s residence after multiple attempts to contact him were unsuccessful. The colleague found the victim lying still and promptly informed the authorities. Officers from the Crime Scene Investigations Unit were dispatched to the location to initiate the investigation. Authorities will await the results of the post-mortem examination to determine the cause of death as the investigation continues.
