A man known to be homeless was discovered unresponsive at the Totogo Police Station early yesterday morning. Acting Commissioner of Police Juki Fong Chew reported that the man had requested to use the restroom facilities, a request that was granted by the duty team.
Moments later, an officer accompanying a prisoner to the restroom noticed the man lying still. Officers quickly secured the area to allow Crime Scene Investigations to carry out their examination.
The Acting Commissioner stated that a post-mortem examination is anticipated to determine the cause of the man’s death. He assured that a comprehensive investigation into the incident would be conducted.
