Authorities have confirmed that there will be no criminal investigation into the death of a senior staff member at the Crowne Plaza Fiji Nadi Bay Resort & Spa. This information was shared by the hotel’s general manager, Shaun Parsons.

On Saturday morning, police discovered the acting manager of the hotel unresponsive in a bathroom. Notably, the deceased exhibited visible injuries. However, police spokesperson Wame Boutolu stated that the circumstances do not warrant a criminal investigation, indicating that the situation has been thoroughly assessed.

This unfortunate incident raises concerns regarding workplace safety and the well-being of staff in hospitality settings. It serves as a reminder of the importance of mental and physical health measures in high-pressure environments.

Overall, while this event is tragic, it is essential for the community to support one another and work towards creating safer and more supportive workplaces.
