Flick Hygiene Suva FC and Navua FC battled to a 2-2 draw, which leaves both teams with limited opportunities to secure a spot in the semi-finals.
Suva took the lead in the first half with goals from Samuela Drudru and Feni Gagame, while Kolinio Sivoki managed to score for Navua. In the second half, Navua equalized through Thomas Dunn, resulting in the draw.
Both teams now sit with one point each. In crucial matches tomorrow, Navua will go up against Labasa FC, and Suva will face Lautoka FC, as they strive to keep their semi-final dreams alive.
Suva’s coach, Babs Khan, expressed optimism, stating, “We’ll do our best tomorrow. Hopefully, Labasa and Navua play to a draw, which will improve our chances.” Meanwhile, Navua’s coach, Saiyad Ali, reflected on the impact of the muddy pitch, noting, “The ground affected our game plan, but my boys did their best, and we’ll fight to qualify.”
