Motibhai Group Shines with Five Awards at Fiji HR Institute Gala

Motibhai Group achieved significant recognition at the 2024 Fiji Human Resources Institute (FHRI) Awards, winning five awards during the ceremony held last Saturday at the Grand Pacific Hotel in Suva.

The awards garnered by the group include the Gold Award for HR Talent Development, the Gold Award for HR Environment & Sustainability in Practice, the Silver Award for HR Emerging Leader (awarded to Artika Devi, Human Resources Coordinator), the Bronze Award for HR Visionary Leader (given to Kirit Patel, Chairman & CEO of Motibhai Group of Companies, Prouds, Burger King Fiji, and Chairman of Fiji Times Limited), and the Bronze Award for HR Transformative Leader (awarded to Sanjay Kumar, Group Manager of People Culture, Admin & Insurances).

Kiritbhai Patel, the chairman and CEO of Motibhai Group, expressed that the awards reflect the company’s reputation as an employer of choice. He emphasized that these accolades symbolize the comprehensive and detailed leadership approach of Motibhai Group in human resources, along with their dedication to employee development, well-being, and sustainability.

Patel highlighted the significance of the HR practices across various sectors, noting that Sanjay Kumar’s Transformative Leader Award marks his second national-level recognition, following his Gold Award in 2023 for HR Manager of the Year. He proudly stated that the group’s visionary leadership, along with their innovative approach to talent development and sustainability, has fostered a paradigm that contributes to their notable success at the 2024 FHRI Awards.
