Solomon Islander Tigi Molea showcased his talent by scoring two remarkable goals, leading Labasa to a convincing 4-1 victory over Nadi in the opening Super Premier semifinal of the 2024 FMF Inter District Championship, held today at Churchill Park in Lautoka.

The Babasiga Lions quickly adapted to the wet field conditions, launching their offensive right from the start of the match.

In the 19th minute, a foul on Christopher Wasasala earned Labasa a penalty, but Wasasala’s attempt soared over the crossbar. However, he redeemed himself by assisting Molea for the first goal in the 26th minute, with a pass that Molea skillfully converted into a goal.

At halftime, Labasa led 1-0, and they further extended their advantage in the 54th minute when Molea scored again, delicately chipping the ball into the left corner of the net.
