Authorities have reported that a 15-year-old girl named Virinda Reddy has been declared missing. A missing person report was filed at the Valelevu Police Station after she was last seen at her home in Laucala Beach on Monday. Efforts by her family to find her have proven unsuccessful.

The police are appealing to the public for any information regarding Virinda’s whereabouts. Individuals with leads are urged to contact Crimestoppers at 919 or the Southern Division Command Centre at 9905 529. This appeal comes in light of similar recent cases involving missing teenagers, including 16-year-old Talei Davetawalu and Rosi Banuve, both missing from their homes in the same area under troubling circumstances.

Community involvement has shown to be pivotal in missing persons cases, as timely information from the public can significantly aid authorities in locating individuals safely. Hence, it is crucial for everyone to stay vigilant and assist in any way possible. There remains a strong hope that Virinda will be found safe and returned to her family soon, following the precedent of previous cases where community support was instrumental in resolving such distressing situations.
