Fiji authorities have reported that two sixteen-year-old girls, Manisha Prasad and Anushika Deepali Narayan, are currently missing. The missing persons report was filed at the Nasinu Police Station after each girl left home yesterday without informing their families. Despite attempts made by their relatives to locate them, both families have been unsuccessful thus far.

The police are appealing to the public for assistance in this matter and urge anyone who might have information regarding their whereabouts to reach out. Individuals can contact Crimestoppers at 919 or the Southern Division Command Centre at 9905529.

This incident reflects a concerning trend, as seen in recent reports involving other minors who have gone missing in Fiji. Authorities have previously encouraged community vigilance and involvement in these situations, emphasizing that timely information can significantly aid in locating missing persons and ensuring their safe return.

Community engagement is crucial in such distressing circumstances. As more individuals come together to watch out for one another, it increases the likelihood of bringing this distressing situation to a positive resolution. We hope for the safe return of Manisha and Anushika soon.
