Police have confirmed that a tragic incident occurred at the Biausevu waterfall in the Coral Coast, where a 5-year-old girl was swept away by a powerful current. The unfortunate event took place around 2 PM yesterday while she was returning from the waterfall.
According to police spokesperson Ana Naisoro, search efforts are currently ongoing, although initial attempts have not yielded positive results. Teams comprising police officers and community volunteers are continuing their search in the Sigatoka area, demonstrating a collective resolve to locate the missing child.
