Tokasa Nadagalu conveyed a powerful message of love overcoming darkness and hatred when she was crowned Miss Vodafone Gold ‘N’ Water 2024 at Garvey Park in Tavua on Saturday night. The 19-year-old beauty, originally from Tavua Village, was raised by relatives after her father departed from the family, and she faced the loss of her mother at the age of 14.
During her crowning moment, she encouraged her peers with the words “Never Give Up,” expressing her deep gratitude to God for her success. In a moving reflection, she quoted the late Mother Theresa, emphasizing that “Only love can drive out darkness and hatred.”
Nadagalu expressed her appreciation to Vodafone Fiji, the event’s main sponsor, as well as the Tavualevu community for their unwavering support, especially from Krishna Goundar.
