Tokasa Nadagalu delivered a powerful message of love and resilience after being crowned Miss Vodafone Gold ‘N’ Water 2024 at Garvey Park in Tavua last Saturday night. The 19-year-old, who represents the vanua o Tavualevu, hails from Tavua Village and faced significant hardships in her early life, including the loss of her mother when she was just 14.
During her crowning ceremony, she encouraged her peers to “Never Give Up,” attributing her success to her faith in God. Emphasizing the importance of love, she quoted the late Mother Theresa, stating, “Only love can drive out darkness and hatred.”
Nadagalu expressed gratitude to Vodafone Fiji, the main sponsor of the event, and her supporting community from Tavualevu, including Krishna Goundar, for their encouragement and backing throughout her journey.
