The official organizer of the 2024 Miss Universe Fiji, Grant Dwyer, stated that the winner, Manshika Prasad, was judged fairly among the nine finalists during the live crowning event on Friday. This comes in light of a statement from Miss Universe Fiji officials claiming that the winner had been incorrectly announced and that Nadine Roberts was the actual winner. Dwyer clarified that the seven judges had voted for Manshika as the majority winner of the title. Among the judges, one was a representative from Lux Property Bali, while the other six were independent judges confirmed and listed on the official Miss Universe Fiji website. Dwyer stands by his assertion that Prasad is the official winner and will represent Fiji at the upcoming Miss Universe pageant in Mexico.
