The official organizer of the 2024 Miss Universe Fiji, Grant Dwyer, has stated that the title was awarded fairly to Manshika Prasad, who emerged as the winner among nine finalists at the live crowning event held on Friday.
This follows confusion from Miss Universe Fiji officials who initially announced that Nadine Roberts was the actual winner. Dwyer clarified in a statement that the majority of the seven judges voted for Manshika as the rightful titleholder.
He noted that one of the judges represented Lux Property Bali, while the remaining six judges were independent and their credentials were confirmed and listed on the official Miss Universe Fiji website. Dwyer asserts that Prasad remains the official winner and will represent Fiji at the upcoming Miss Universe pageant in Mexico.
