Miss Universe Fiji contestants visited Navua Hospital’s maternity ward yesterday, where they engaged in various activities.
During their visit, the contestants met with Dr. Kapil Swamy, Midwife Samantha Banner, and Salote Matanayawa, Commander of the Navua Command Centre. They took the opportunity to inquire about the current challenges faced by young mothers in the country.
The contestants also participated in an educational session led by Melissa White, director of the International Seakeepers Society for the South Pacific, focusing on oceanographic research and conservation efforts.
Miss Universe Fiji has partnered with The Pearl Resort & Spa to host the 2024 Miss Universe Fiji National Final. The crowning of Miss Universe Fiji will take place tonight in Pacific Harbour.
