Miss Universe Fiji contestants visited the maternity ward at Navua Hospital yesterday as part of their community activities. During their visit, they engaged with Dr. Kapil Swamy, SDMO Serua/Namosi, midwife Samantha Banner from the Navua Maternity Unit, and Salote Matanayawa, Commander of Navua Command Centre. The contestants inquired about current issues facing young mothers in the country.
Additionally, the contestants attended an educational session led by Melissa White, Director of the International Seakeepers Society for the South Pacific, which focused on oceanographic research and conservation efforts. Miss Universe Fiji has partnered with The Pearl Resort & Spa, which will serve as the official host for the 2024 Miss Universe Fiji National Final. The crowning ceremony for Miss Universe Fiji is set to take place tonight at Pacific Harbour.
