The Miss Universe Fiji 2024 Gala Crowning Function took place on Friday, September 30, at The Pearl Resort & Spa in Pacific Harbour.
Manshika Prasad, a 24-year-old from Lakena Nausori, was crowned the winner, while the co-runners-up were 23-year-old Susan Ranadi from Ekubu and 30-year-old Nadine Roberts.
This event marked Fiji’s return to the Miss Universe competition after a 43-year hiatus and included a red carpet, pre-event drinks, a buffet dinner, and entertainment from the Vou Dance Group and Bitz n Pieces Band, alongside three fashion parades.
Several category awards were given, with Susan Ranadi receiving the Best Catwalk award, and Nadine Roberts winning both the Best Evening Gown and Miss Social Media titles.
The night ended with a spectacular fireworks display. Finalists also engaged in fashion shoots and enjoyed exclusive dinners at The Pearl Resort.
The official partners for the Miss Universe Fiji 2024 event included LUX Projects Fiji, The Pearl Resort & Spa, and various contributors from the fashion, charity, and hospitality sectors.
The winner will go on to represent Fiji at the Miss Universe International Final in Mexico City in mid-November.
