Miss Fiji, Sunishma Singh, has won the title of Miss Continental Oceania at the Face of Beauty International Pageant currently taking place in Taiwan. The 28-year-old from Cuvu, Sigatoka, who works as a Sustainability Specialist for Tourism Fiji, outperformed contestants from countries such as Australia, New Zealand, Tonga, and Niue.
This title is given to the top contestant from the Oceania region during the preliminary rounds of the pageant and is awarded to those who exemplify beauty, intelligence, and leadership, aligning with the pageant’s core values. It also acknowledges the winner’s performance relative to her regional peers and emphasizes her role in promoting her country’s culture and values on an international platform.
The 2024 Face of Beauty International pageant will culminate in the “Global Grand Finale,” which is scheduled to take place at the Lin Palace in Kaohsiung, southern Taiwan, on September 19.
